So sleepy wanna sleep, but can't sleep....yet. Today was interesting. Met my Japanese language exchange partner (who I realized looks like Eita xD) and his 2 friends, and invited Jess and Diane for talk times~ One of them likes KAT-TUN, specifically Akanishi, so I was like. wah～　But Jess prefers NEWS, and I like NEWS and Arashi more than KAT-TUN, but that's okay, cause even if we did karaoke I would still be able to do a large part of KAT-TUN's songs. xD;; Working on Arashi songs, but slowly....they have a very long history, which I finally realized today as an Arashi song popped up in my car and I didn't know what it was. :x

Current Goal: Somehow, by some miracle, get to see Tenimyu in the winter in japan. Which means, save, save, save. D: Or land awesome PT or FT job ASAP. ><;
That aside, wouldn't mind going to Japan again. xD; and this time I know what I'm doing, and where I'm going more or less. xD; Still have this goal of being able to study over there for a whole year at university, but I'm only left with graduate studies now. Playing field is definitely different. Tada yume ka na....

Today was fun~ Minus my laziness in the beginning of the day, followed by a random drive to do something productive, like look for chaos;head fabric, which I couldn't find in the Glendale and Pasadena Joann stores at all -__-; FAIL. But I think it's online *crosses fingers and hopes that's the right one, will order it tomorrow and hope for the best*

Went to a JACCC event in Little Tokyo with epiic, and met up with Super No 1 (recognize the face, and sn from cosplay.com). Followed by yogurt yumminess, and arcade playing time. ^^;; Found that, for some reason everytime I get someone to play DDR with me at the arcade, I'm always wearing flip-flops for some reason -__-;;; *sigh* Akiramemasu~

But yeah today was fun, although I felt like I was totally unentertaining. D: After my afternoon adventure in 100 or whatever degree heat, my energy totally was depleted. T___T Mah, it was still fun. :D I got have done without my unproductive afternoon trip though. ^^

For some reason for all of today since I woke up my right ear has been stopped up? It finally got a bit better after today's Little Tokyo event, but just returned back to its previous annoying state once I queued on music on my laptop....fushigi da ne... Doesn't hurt, but just the feeling you get when you're going up in an airplane and you should chew gum or something ..... now that I think more, I get worried T___T i even stopped using headphones for the past like month or so since I got back from Japan. ><; Usually I'd think it'd be from excessive headphone use that I'd get that problem. well hopefully it's a one day thing. It did feel weird when I was sleeping ... I should have gotten the hint. T___T

Hanakotoba Challenge....

Started writing a fanfic for hanakotoba challenge on FF.net, so yeah....just writing out my current thoughts, since I can't move from a certain point.

Day 3

Yes! 1000 words + (xD;; haven't written in months and months, so I feel so accomplished), but...

Blah. I was doing so well...almost at the end. And then bye bye fanfiction muse. T___T *sigh* Maybe I missed the cue my brain gave me a few lines back? .___. I think Sanada type lines turned into Tezuka type lines somewhere there... xD;

Ugh, can only think of how to write what I want to say in Japanese. WTF > >; Need proper English translation of this...T____T やっぱり無理でしょう～ (muri da yo ne...)

EDIT: Yay, gave up on that to do scanslations...yay for first time doujin translating from start to finish. xD;

Went to spa today with my mom and aunt for my aunt's upcoming birthday this weekend. It was fun....soooooooooooo tired though. Reminds me of how when I was younger and went to water parks...and yeah, wow playing in water all day makes you tired for whatever reason. -__- Gah T___T But it wasn't bad~ Wouldn't mind going again, just so far.......and too lazy. >>;

After that stopped by CSUSB to visit my cousin, who looked/sounded dead tired. ^^; Hehe, leadership positions do that to you? Especially when it's for housing stuff right before school starts back. *sigh* Makes me feel all nostalgic about when I first started college 6 years ago. *gah* XD

Anyway somehow managed to cure my "not watching anime for a while" phase immediately after my last post, and managed to finish Skip Beat!, catch up with all the eps of Hanasakeru Seishounen (I kind of like this series. xD I wonder why :P would cosplay it if the costumes were more recognizable? more of a group kind of thing), almost finished with Chaos;HEad, and not sure what's next. xD; Started playing this otome game called Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side. xD; Dunno how that happened, just started when I got sudden idea of buying a DS, and yeah... the voice actors = ♥ Miki Shinichiro (Lockon ♥), Midorikawa Hikaru (xD GW's Heero Yuy ♥ *___* and more but I will always remember him for that particular role, since that series started my never ending spiral into darkness/paradise, your pick), Ishida Akira (name says it all), Okiayu Ryoutarou (Tezuka ♥ ♥), Koyasu Takehito (Mu La Flaga, and more ♥), and of course, Yukana (:D). Needless to say I'm having my fair share of fun with that, but yeah. xD;

Guess time to start the cosplay work this weekend or something...@___@ if I can finalize my list in 48 hours. xD;

Oh yeah, y-con...somehow I say I'm going but haven't figured out my ride situation yet :X whoops? xD

Hmm....trying to figure out what my cosplay schedule is for the rest of the year. :x *geh* Half feel like starting a project from a game or something. xD; First need to be remotivated to start stuff up again. I'm about 30% there...
Been a while since I've watched any new anime series...guess I should start back sometime soon. Finally invested money in a DS, so yeah...been half obsessed with that. And finally got my new room all put together, just needs new furniture. XD Been a bit lethargic since I came back from Japan. xD; Struggling through the jetlag didn't help. T___T Problem with trips that far, for durations longer than a month. ><; , and I guess the fires didn't help when I tried to go anywhere too (especially since my car has no functioning A/C right now...need to change the filters sometime soon... .__.; ) .

Why are earthquakes so interesting xD maybe it's just me that would immediately visit the japan meteorological agency earthquake site to find out information about an earthquake that just happened 10 minutes prior, or instantly. xD; ♥ Habit from my earthquake engineering class. (if it was america USGS, and it would of course pop up on my list of visited websites within one or two keys "ea" --> earthquake.usgs.gov, or something like that xD) . Gah I really should go study that. xD; At large magnitudes they are frigtening, but small ones are interesting...like the one I just felt ay 5:09 AM this morning. Was expecting typhoon madness, but instead I get an earthquake jolt (Magnitude IV, on american scale approx.) xD; And really close by in Shizuoka-ken, which I had just viisted abuot 2 weekends ago :O DIdn't feel the one north of Tokyo, so guess this time they made sure I could feel it xD

Anyway back to take a 30 minute nap before getting ready for class. xD

Wah thought I would be able to make a post everyday, but impossible after all. D: Anyway been doing well in Japan~ lots of rain lately even though it's summer season. Went to Kyoto yesterday and to see Okazaki's hanabi taikai, but in both instances heavy rain fell. To the hanabi taikai I wore a yukata I bought at Uniclo for ~ 4000 yen. Bottom of my yukata got really wet + my flip-flops, really sandy and wet from standing near the river on the banks D: Anyway feeling meh D: onset of the sore throat, as a result of yesterday's rain. D: Gonna sleep soon (even though I have homework for my japanese class and a vocab quiz tomorrow morning T___T will wake up early and do it....maybe)

Wah~ Today was fun, even though there was rain. Got to play with rasuberi たのしかったよ～　xD; Went shopping...10,000 yen is never enough when you're clothes shopping. ><; I learned that pretty fast. Pretty sure each store we stepped into, I bought something xD; Except for the shoes, but I totally want some of those shoes *___* Ahh Japan, you will make me totally broke, but I love you ♥ We went to the JUMP store and Ghibli store, but no moneys = no awesome purchases. D: Need to go to the school office tomorrow, and pick up my money ^^;;; Guess I really overpaid a lot for my program, so I have lots of money waiting....I think I should be able to pick it up tomorrow ( was supposed to on Friday, but was running late for the train back home D:) . xD;

Went to Johnny's Nagoya store, and OMG pictures galore. I have not reached that level of fangirl yet...xD;;; They didn't have any cooler merch. apart from photosets, ticket holders, a Ryo uchiwa...in terms of NEWS. Ahh and something from the winter concert. Glad I didn't get myself anything though, I have my really awesome bday present from this year already. xD; I will be back at some point for sure though xD

rasuberi, kind of regretting that you didn't get those rainbow shoes D: Kind of regretting I forgot to pull out my camera at that point xD But they were some awesome shoes, only in Japan I say. xD;

Karaoke place we went to was fun, but the first one was really sketchy next to this place that was like something about healthy bodies, and yeah.. -__-;;; from all the guys waiting outside, I'm pretty sure the place next to the 1st karaoke place was uhh...sketchy. xD; So we went to this next place, which looking up at the stairs we were like o___O Looks sketchy too, but not as bad as the other one with a bunch of guys waiting outside in the rain xD;;;; So we went up, and it was okay...until we headed up to the room, where the stairs from 2F to 5F looked like a scene out of a video game...I forgot what we decided. xD; But one of those one person shooter type games with poor-lighted staircases, etc. xD;;; But the music selection was abundant. 恋のABO, Believe, and Bolero (felt empty without the harmonies though) was fun to sing, but wish we had more time. xD

Pictures will come later. (Not that I took much ^^;;) I need to review for my vocab quiz tomorrow. xD;

Must learn to tune my brain's level of Japanese with what comes out of my mouth T__T;;

Day 12? Time flies by fast...kind of. xD; But still another 5 weeks to go, not that I'm counting the days or anything. (I hate the mosquitoes that attack me while I'm sleeping.) I really like my host family xD;; Plan today is to go to Nagoya to meet up with rasuberi :) That should be fun~ :D Hopefully I can make a stop at the Johnny's shop for someone's birthday present...xD; Think I need to take a train to get out there. At times like these I think *wah, if i knew how to ride a bike* Yes -___- I don't know how...and yet I'm surviving. xD; Determined to learn though, just like how I'm learning the ukelele (never was on my list of things to learn, but learning the guitar was, so it's close xD). Yesterday played the Wii with the kids. xD; It was fun: Taiko drumming, tennis, bowling, golf~ Sometimes I forget I'm in Japan. xD Feels like I haven't gone that far at all. Maybe just cause I'm so used to spending my entire day watching Japanese TV, etc~ xD Sometimes it hits me though. xD; Still a''djusting to the time difference, but I think my set pattern is sleep at 11 PM (or if I am lucky, I can make it to 12 AM), and wake up at 5 AM/6 AM. All without any alarm, so that's not bad... xD

Next week weekend plans:
Saturday -- visit Okazaki Castle, and other places in the area. xD;
Sunday -- Take the choo-choo train xD to Shizuoka Pref. (forgot exactly where), and then I think there's this parrot/bird farm there me and my host family are going to. xD;

Arrived in Japan a few days ago　：）　It's really hot and humid、and will only get worse as the summer progresses, but I like it here :) Met a lot of people through my class at Yamasa, and really enjoy being with my host family. The three daughters are really cute. Although at first it was like XD what to say, etc...furthermore everything is in Japanese, so my brain is adjusting. I often wonder if after all this whether I,ll still remember English. I use it some times but only at school everything home is Japanese. xD;; And everything else of course, but I think I,ll mprove a lot this way :) anyway off to buy a blow-dryer comb thing at the shopping mall and then going for a BBQ and to see a Noh play. xD; Yay stuff I learned about in J50, but only remember 50% xD;;

Seen lots of Stitch things here that I know Jenny would love, but only been here 3-4 days so far so there's more exploring to do....anyway off to check e-mail, missing everyone though :) but enjoying the food. (which i've been surviving on...first time I've had egg yolk ... the runny version :x don't like it much but mixing it with the rice and shoyu wasn't too bad xD) Host family mom and family = amazing :)

So due to some circumstances, and time constraints some people informed me they won't be going and won't have their outfits done in time for Fanime, so there will be some changes to the character list over the next couple days.

For the most part mine is done, so the group is still happening, but just note the changes in the character list.

Also, if any of you will be here for AX and are willing to attempt a revival of a more complete group for this at that time I'm more than open to doing that, as I will be at AX, and definitely rewearing this outfit there~~ :D

That's all. Back to studying for my midterms T______T , and doing my Japanese homework...
Can't believe karaoke contest sign-ups filled up 25 spots in less than 25 minutes... o__O good thing I signed up as soon as the link was up. :x

Wahh AN CAFE <3 So awesome seeing them in person. xD; It was worth the wait. Kind of interesting how before hand I was like "yeah...let's go~" and then when it was my turn to get my stuff signed (Neo Genesis ... ちょっと高かった。。。) Wah Teruki <3 And Takuya (who has the softest handshake ever xD), and Yuuki <3 Miku (XD XD XD just too adorable. NYAPPY!~), and wahhh~ Kanon <3. Jess got to take pictures of them individually <3 Wish my camera were working too T____T

The wait and the long process from 5 AM onwards will not be forgotten. Woke up at 5. Left UCLA by bus at 6. Arrived in Little Tokyo at 7. Then I had to leave again at 7:35ish to head back to UCLA on bus for my Japanese class at 9. Then I drove from UCLA to Little Tokyo at 10. Arrived at like 11 (after stupidly making a wrong exit on the 101 north....>>;). Got my autograph ticket at 12:15. Went to have lunch, buy my stuff to get autographed. Then, went to work at 1. For 4 hours...couldn't focus at all. T____T Especially since it was hard eating my chicken curry udon from Curry house without splattering the broth everywhere... (white shirt day..><) Then went to the back at 4:30, filled up gas, and went back to Little Tokyo at 5 PM. Waited around for Jenny and Jess for an hour till 6 PM. Then we waited around for another hour until the signing began at 7 PM. And went in came out successfully at 7:30/45ish? :D

Looking forward even more to today. Concert times <3 Wahh I need to make some cosplay times too.....

Ahh also thinking about going Japan a bit later, so I'll be here for AX. xD;; Thinking...just so much going on I can't meet my personal deadlines for some things. :x

Wow...I go to work for one whole week finally, again, and it's like overload of work to do. @___@ Could finally take a nice deep breath yesterday after submitting my stuff I was working on to my boss, but then it was like "Eh? It's Wednesday? Already?" Already a week of my spring break passed by without me even knowing it. And school resumes on Monday... xD;

Anyway, trying to make cosplay progress. Angelique is being Angelique pretty much though. Still working on it. Hoping to finish most of it by Saturday, so all I'd have to worry about are how to do the shoes. And then I need the pattern from Diane for Gundam 00 cosplay. Still want to do a group for that, since so many people doing it. >< Thinking I should use tomorrow night to catch up on all the episodes I have not seen yet too.

Hmm, should go running or something this weekend too. Feeling pretty lazy lately...T___T

Ahh also people that are staying in the Fanime hotel rooms we have? Can you comment to confirm that you are actually staying in yoshikochan and my rooms? Need to find my list I have in one of my old comments of one of my old posts about who is on the list and what not.

*sigh* Almost at the end of this quarter, then maybe I can breathe, and get time to post more on my journal. T___T; And finish cosplay, I miss working on it. :x

Went to Wonder Girls concert tho on Thursday night, and it was pretty entertaining. "Nobody" was awesome. "Irony" was a great song like always. And "Saying 'I Love You'" I liked that performance. Would totally go see them again, or just go to that same concert again. And then there was 2 PM ♥ "10 Points out of 10 Points"/ 10점 만점에 10점 ... yay for copy and paste on the Korean. xD; That song is now officially stuck in my head. Never knew about them before, but guess now I do. :x And of course, JYP performed...most interesting performace I've ever seen. Each song tied into the story line, meeting a girl at the bar/club, and taking her home, etc... Best part, or most entertaining part was when a girl got selected from the audience to go up, and then got tied down onto the bed that was one of JYP's props. And then, with the work of some hydraulics, the bed was standing up facing the entire audience. Poor girl (?), or not, she seemed to have the expression "omgomgomg...wtf...JYP~ xD" I was more like "Ahh~ if it were DBSK, Jaejoong in particular~ Or Yunho ♥..." But yeah she got sung to, and got danced on, etc~ All in all, entertaining night.

And back to the reality that my paper is due sometime soon, and my engineering project paper needs to get written this weekend, so as to not let down my teammates. T___T And water resources homework in which calculations are turning up negative when they shouldn't be. T____T And I got called back for an interview at DWP, but I wanna go Japan over the summer still. Probably for 4 weeks at end of Jun thru July only though as opposed to 7 or 8 with the added bonus of Comiket. T___T *sigh* Life. T___T

Ahh and An Cafe performing at the Avalon on April 11th. I wanna go for $60, but I have to pay my $125 for my Korean Music Festival seat my friend got for me (ahh SHINee...xD). The way I regret missing out on a certain someone/group *cough*jaejoong*cough*dongbangshinki*cough*. Ahh need to register for Fanime once finals are over too. >>;

Went FD yesterday. It was fun like always, and tiring of course. (Love how I forgot to bring my camera. .___.; ) Neo Angelique cosplay can get started on now, more or less. Got all my materials within my allotted budget, so that was refreshing. Just need a few minor things in addition to what I've bought already. Trim for the black skirt. And somehow deal with the boots issue. :X

Wondering if should make an attempt to organize Gundam 00 group. xD;; The group's already getting kind of big. All the Meisters, and other ppl doing Gundam 00 cosplay. (I want pretty picture times for such an awesome series like this). Might have Regene Regetta too, or Ribbons. Just wondering though is anyone on my f-list doing Ribbons for Fanime? Cause then can just have Diane's friend do Regene, if there's a group. xD;;; ~~Which there needs to be... :x~~

Soo sleepy. shabu shabu times on Friday were fun. Do want more. :D

Hmm, Wonder Girls performing at the beginning of March...I know my friend really likes them a lot...and actually their songs aren't bad. Determined not to make the mistake I did last year with the Korean Music Festival in not going and being the 1 in a million people that also squeed when DBSK came on stage. Yup...no longer making that mistake. At least it's not the week or two weeks before Fanime like last year. ^^;

ALA finished like 2 days ago and I'm already planning for Fanime. :x NeoAnge group post made --> HERE (If anyone's interested. Feel free to cross post to other locations desu~)

Also seems like there'll be a good amount of season 2 Gundam 00 at Fanime. *cough*mr.bushido*cough*, and Diane and I are making char350 an outfit for Ian (yeah! maintenance guy awesomeness ♥~). Just need a Sumeragi, Lasse, Mileina...and more to make a complete crew. I think I would love anyone that attempted to do Patrick. Almost tempted to make Kati's outfit just to have more stuff to play in. :x

Hmm, yay for 4 AM posting. Haha I have work in like 3 hours. :x

Wah it's been too long. Happy New Year to all, and love you all~ Fall Qtr was a living hell between commuting, organizing PMX and ALA, and trying to create our own plaid for Shugo Chara along with school projects, and a bunch of other stuff. >< But yeah, ALA was fun. Tiring, but fun. Only wore Gundam 00 S2 and Soul Eater in the end, but I enjoyed wearing new stuff. Making everything was stressful as always, but the joy of putting your final creation on afterwards is the best feeling ever. :x Minus noticing everything wrong with it afterwards.

Loved seeing everyone I haven't seen in forever, and talked with in forever. I seriously missed everyone <3

So that's one milestone over, and another to approach: FANIME 2009 =D Time to start planning.

Oh yeah, I got a pay raise today for being within 6 months of graduation...=D Of course, they tell me that during winter break right when I had thoughts of not returning for Winter Qtr (cause of scheduling issues). Actually good thing they told me, otherwise I never would have known about it.

Hoping to go to Japan this summer. Maybe through this Japan English teaching summer camp my cousin did last summer. But whenever someone mentions teaching, I get nervous. :x Feel like I can't teach well. T____T;;; Or handle groups that well, but guess it's good pre-workplace training when I'll probably have to conduct meetings and the like? But yeah if I do that program, no AX for me this year. D: *thinks thinks*

Anyway, feel like playin gmore this weekend with people. Anyone wanna do something together? :D karaoke in Little Tokyo or something?
